Larry Sherman Hits the Big Time!

Courtesy of Brian: Our very own Larry Sherman on the Colbert Report.

Windex Remix

As I reached for the window cleaner I almost criticized it for being a generic, but stopped to praised it for being a pun.

Law & Order: G.S.U. (Gawker Stalker Unit)

Some days on the street are less than pleasant. For instance, one day last year on Delancey Street, I saw a crack dealer getting arrested and as I turned the corner, someone pooped right in front of me on the street. Within about thirty seconds.

But other days are quite nice, like a couple of weeks ago when I first went up on the new High Line. If you haven't been -- GO! Great views, great snacks, great wildflowers, and celebrity sightings.

I was sitting on a bench when I saw a 17 year old boy scream and collapse, then get up and run. I looked toward where he was running, and it was none other than Sandra Bernhard. He just sort of trailed behind her, hyperventilating, until she walked out of sight.

Law & Your Lunch Order: New Menu Book

I just finished organizing the locations department menu book. I started with two overflowing 4" binders, weeded out the old, ugly and tasteless, and ended up with one single 2" binder. Along the way, I found a few menus I thought were worth sharing:

Best Mascot: The Ravioli King

Best Restaurant Name: A Salt & Battery (I'm a sucker for puns)

Best Recommendation and Note from Previous Experience: Chelsea Variety Gourmet Restaurant (see top right hand corner)

Secret Talents

Who knew he could dance like that?!
